Oklahoma ranks #49 or #50 in public education nationally, depending on which ranking one reads. Neither should be acceptable to any Oklahoman. Our kids deserve a better public education.
Virtual school days are like vacation days.
Oklahoma’s public schools rank near the bottom in total number of instructional days/hours in class, at 165-days as prescribed by State law.
We must remove digital distractions from our schools.
Cellphones in class distract our kids from valuable educational time (which is already one of the shortest in the country). Our kids need to learn. We need to ditch the phones.
